2016 Winter Lishan High Mountain
Rinsed leaves smell like cooked vegetables, mostly savory but with some citrus high notes. Broth is smooth and buttery. This tea arrived two days ago (12/10) so we will update tasting notes as the tea opens up in a few weeks.
1/24/17 tasting note update: The rinsed leaves smell very deep with a great citrus high note. Its broth is very smooth and feels deeper/heavier than the rest of our high mountain Oolong from this winter season. This new winter Lishan has a lot of citrus flavor with a taste reminds me of lightly toasted grain. The aftertaste of this Lishan is strong.
*This Lishan is harvested in November 2016 with Chin Xin Oolong varietal.
*If you purchase 4 ounces of this winter Lishan High Mountain Oolong, it will come in a 5 ounces vacuum pack.
